Features and Amenities
About the Lodge
The lodge was started in 1994 and completed in 1995 and was constructed with an all wood frame structure and incorporates best building techniques. All interior spaces have individually controlled heating and air conditioning. The lodge features the most advanced fire protection available including smoke detectors, enunciators, emergency lighting in all halls, and a computer controlled fire surveillance system to identify potential problems. We can provide babysitting and porterage to our guests. Currency exchange is available and we can provide service in German.
At the Front Desk
The front desk remains open from 7am to 11pm daily. Check in time is after 3pm and checkout time is before 11am. Fax receiving and sending is available at the front desk. You can reserve a room by phone from 7am to 11pm daily. If you wish to email us, we will respond within one day.
We provide information about the various local attractions. We also provide a guest laundry and same day valet service. Irons and ironing boards may be requested at the front desk. For our guests with small children, we also provide playpens. Extra guests may be accommodated in rolloway beds. Ice, pop, and vending machines are available near the lobby.
If you have any other requests, feel free to ask at the front desk and we will try to accommodate your needs.
The Spa
The spa is open from 8am to 10pm daily and features a twelve person hot tub and six person steam bath. Exercise equipment is also present and consists of a weight bench and exercise bike. Men's and women's showers are provided for your convenience. The spa also features two large patio doors that allow for natural sunlight.
The Gift Shop
Our gift shop features artwork and craftwork by local artisans and includes a variety of souvenirs, body care products by Fruits & Passion, T-shirts and sweatshirts, and many more great gift ideas including FIGI novelties.
